This charming Melbourne home had great bones but needed careful updates to suit its new owners. The brief focused on preserving character while improving comfort, flow, and function.

The project involved cosmetic updates throughout, with thoughtful product selections, new paint colours, and a refined approach to furnishings. During early works, underlying issues were uncovered, including rising damp and structural damage to the kitchen floor, which prompted a more involved restoration than originally planned.

The end result is a home that feels refreshed and practical, while retaining the warmth and lived-in appeal of a much-loved residence.
